Employment Minister responds to govt public service targets

The Prime Minister has outlined nine measureable goals or so called Better Public Service Targets. Among them; An aim to get 95% of people elective treamtments within four months. Getting 95% of patients through the emergency department with in six hours. Reducing serious persistent child and youth offending by 15%. Making sure 80% of children are in school more than 90% of the term. When it comes to welfare; the plan is to get 50,000 people off the job seekers benefit. All to be achieved by 2030.
