On July 16, MONSTA X held a press conference ahead of their upcoming 10th-anniversary “CONNECT X” concert at Seoul’s KSPO Dome this weekend. When asked about their plans to release a new album, Kihyun revealed, “We’re already preparing for our comeback. We already finished recording a long time ago. I can’t tell you the exact time frame, but within the company, the date has already been set. A significant portion [of the comeback] has already been prepared.” Joohoney then revealed that their comeback date was sometime in September. “I’ll just tell you the month when our new album will be released,” he said playfully. “It’s coming out in September. It’ll be released as quickly as possible in September.” In the meantime, MONSTA X will be performing at the KSPO Dome for three nights from July 18 to 20 for their “CONNECT X” concert.
