Mystery Figure In The Woods | True Ghost Stories

What was the mysterious figure that appeared to be a deer… but wasn’t… deep in the woods? Here is a preview of the story. “I was probably about hundred to two hundred yards from this buck. I've been a hunter, red neck and hillbilly all my life I was born and bred in bell County kg. I have run the trails of those mountains from pike xo KY in the north to the Smokey mtns in the south. I am also half Cherokee (eastern band).  I watched while this thing began to stand up. I've seen bucks and does raise up before  But this was strange. The buck stood up like a human but taller. It crossed the field from the tree line to the edge of the hill I was on in mere minutes. Well, that's what it appeared to me.  It appeared to change from a deer to an emaciated rotten figure  When it was fully upright from where I set it was probably 8 ft tall and was had an odor that couldn't be described properly. I have been an undertaker for most of my life and had experienced decomp smells that has made Hardin police officers and coroner’s vomit. Nothing like that have I smelled but once before in the black mums of Harlan KY but that's another experience.”
