Brad Spielberger, Tyler Kennedy, Pitt basketball's historic season opener

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 3: Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus joined the show. Brad thinks the city should be building statues for Mike Tomlin winning some of these games with the current Steelers. He has the Bengals, Ravens, Browns, then Steelers as his projected final AFC North standings. Should Broderick Jones be getting added praise by playing right tackle where he isn't familiar? Brad thought he looked solid and the best asset in the running game on the offensive line. Matt Canada coached his best game against Tennessee. Brad thought he was good last week too and being on the field didn't do too much. Brad Spielberger thinks we should put up statues of Mike Tomlin every week. The Colts, Saints, Texans, and more have won playoff games more recently than the Steelers. Can Tomlin actually win Coach of the Year? If they go 9-8 it's absurd. National outlets think he's a top candidate. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. The Penguins scored 10 goals against San Jose this weekend and dominated in all aspects. The team gets a chance now to get redemption against Anaheim. The 2003 Penguins are probably better than the Sharks. Crowley thinks Heather Lyke deserves a ton of credit for staying patient with Jeff Capel. Little things are what Jeff Capel does well and turned the team around after a poor start to last season. Pitt has a chance to do great things this season. The Pitt volleyball team is doing fantastic.
