Charlie Siringo was a well-known man in the west. A lawman who trailed Billy The Kid, Pinkerton agent, cowboy, and author who wrote from experience, Charlie spent 40 years in the west. It all started in South Texas where he grew up near the beaches at Matagorda, where longhorn cattle were as plentiful as leaves on the trees. Then somebody had to idea to drive 'em north and sell 'em., and young Charlie went with them.
