Bullet Train, Prey, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Not Okay, Belle, We Own This City, Batgirl and the Future of Warner Bros Discovery/DC | Episode 134

It's been a decent beginning for August when it comes to movies and we have a bunch to talk about. We first discuss the new Blockbuster action film starring Brad Pitt and an ensemble cast with "Bullet Train" (1:34), and move into our review of the latest film in the "Predator" franchise, the new prequel that premiered on Hulu "Prey" (19:36). We also got the chance to check out the newest slasher from A24 "Bodies Bodies Bodies" (33:43), while Desmund checked out a couple of other movies new to streaming including "Not Okay" (45:51) on Hulu and the Japanese animated film "Belle" (56:02). Jordan also wacthed a limited series on HBO from "The Wire" creator David Simon titled "We Own This City" (1:04:12). We of course had to address the enormous elephant in the room and discuss the cancellation of Batgirl, as well as the new plans that David Zaslav has for Warner Bros. Discovery and the DCEU.
