It's been 25 years in the making but it's finally here! 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' (1:50) has landed in theaters and HBO Max! Lebron James joins up with the Looney Toons and we got to see what he could (or couldn't) do on the big screen. Also we were able to check out 'Escape Room: Tournament of Champions' (28:22), the sequel to the puzzle thriller starring Taylor Russell. And Netflix tried something new recently releasing 'Fear Street' (41:20), the 3 part horror/slasher film series based on the books from R.L stein.  This week we were also joined by a good friend of ours Phil Hughes, the producer of an upcoming film titled 'Throuple' (56:35) Throuple is a coming-of-age romcom that showcases a diverse group of young people exploring new answers to life's old questions of growing up & falling in love. It also champions local musicians, unleashing into the world a no-skips indie soundtrack rivaling the likes of "Garden State" & "Once." With a screenplay boasting finalist positions in The Academy Awards Nicholl Fellowship, the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab, the Creative Capital Fund, and the Screencraft Fellowship, Throuple is a bold new take on the romantic comedy. A legend in his own right and a soul that will never be forgotten. Rest easy Biz.
