Callie Higgins is a scientist at the National Institute of Science and Technology where she focuses on photopolymer additive manufacturing. Her work focuses on using atomic force microscopy to detect and remedy flaws in additive manufactured parts. This research was highlighted earlier in the year when Callie was awarded the Service to America Medal for an Emerging Leader. Callie has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Optics/Optical Sciences and Material Science from University of Colorado Boulder and recently took a position as an adjunct professor at Colorado School of Mines.
