Children Accused of Extremism

Two teachers a day are calling a government hotline about fears that children might be turning to extremism - but what happens when those concerns aren't justified? New laws introduced last summer placed a duty on teachers to take safeguarding action if they believe a pupil is in danger of becoming radicalised.
