Judy Zhu is a global operating tech executive and a long-time advocate for diversity in senior leadership. She is the Founder/CEO of a soon-to-launch venture-backed company called MoneyGirls – a simple direct-to-girl platform for young women to develop financial skills and build wealth, so they become confidently independent.Judy has spent the last decade years building and leading various technology companies, with multi-disciplinary experience across consumer and enterprise companies. Most recently, she has served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Leadership Consortium, a company co-founded by Professor Frances Frei of Harvard Business School. Previously at Uber Technologies, she led US Business Development in financial services and other strategies initiatives, building multi-years and multi-hundred million-dollar partnerships with firms such as Visa, American Express and Barclays. Judy also led international expansion at the Alibaba-backed company ShopRunner, where her mandate was to bring retailers like Neiman Marcus to Chinese consumers, via her partnerships with Alibaba and TMall. Judy previously was an early employee at Diapers.com and served in a range of leadership roles launching new business categories, both pre and post the company’s half a billion-dollar acquisition by Amazon.Judy’s set of expertise spans geographies. She graduated from the University of Victoria(Canada) with international studies via the University of International Business and Economics(Beijing), and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Her early experiences include foreign diplomatic service at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, sales leadership at L’Oreal Canada.She has spoken about the intersection of leadership and gender across industries. She can share her insights into embracing diversity and inclusion as a lever to improve individual and organizational performance.
