The Saturday morning "squash" match was a staple in the world of 'old school' professional wrestling. Sitting in front of your TV screen watching the Superstars that you knew and loved take on guys that you've never heard of before. It was wrestlings way of showcasing their stars to the world - while saving big matches for pay-per-view events. Who were these "no name" wrestlers that just appeared in the ring after commercial breaks? No theme music, no entrance, no real chance at winning....they were the unsung heroes of the Golden Age of Wrestling...they were the enhancement talent.
