12. BOOK CLUB: Pride and Prejudice

In order of chronology, the touchstone English storytellers are as follows: first you have Chaucer, then Shakespeare, and finally this week's author, Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice, her third written and second published novel, is the true-north of the rom-com genre. It is everything most rom-com's aspire to be: witty, romantic, thoughtful, and full of the feels. We would be hard pressed to send you anywhere else if you want the perfect example of the form.
