Ep. 40: Khipus

The Inca and their predecessors did not use writing as they governed.  However, there were khipus.  Made of woven string and linked together with various knots, the decipherment of khipus is still a work in progress. In this episode we will discuss what we know so far about the khipus and discuss how researchers have interpreted specific cases.
