#43 - 3000km cycle from Hanoi to Bangkok (Claire Davies)

This week on the podcast, we are delighted to welcome Claire Davies. We were introduced to Claire via social media from a good friend and previous guest on the podcast Ross Hyslop, who met Claire whilst hiking Scotland’s finest Munros up the North of Scotland. Claire is on today to talk about her experiences travelling and how she ended up cycling across South East Asia from Hanoi to Bangkok which is 3000KM. Claire also has a background in triathlon, which is how she got into cycling. In 2019, Claire completed her first ultra marathon, the Type 2 Fun Run with a distance of 66 trail miles in the Cairngorms and competed in the Trans Alba which is a 1066 mile self supported bike race around Scotland. She has also recently become a mountain leader and is starting to lead bike packing trips in Scotland. An inspiring episode that will make you want to plan your next adventure.
