We talk boundaries as you ascend and grow as a woman and business leader. 🤝 The Blurred Friendship Line & Over-Giving Dynamic: In the past, I’ve found myself over-giving and blurring the lines between friendship and the student-teacher relationship. Friendship is something I take very seriously—it’s a relationship that I formally acknowledge and prioritize with personal time and energy. But within the context of my work, I’m a teacher of self-regulation, not a therapist or a friend to most students, and that’s okay. By setting these boundaries, I’m able to serve with integrity and protect the quality of both my professional and personal relationships. 💡 Here’s the truth: Boundaries are essential, not just for protecting our energy but for allowing us to show up fully and authentically in our work and relationships. It hasn’t always been easy—there’s been confusion, and even pain, in learning to say no, especially when I used to be so available. But this evolution is necessary for me to continue serving at my highest capacity. 🌿 As I’ve grown: My clarity around what I can and cannot give has become stronger. I’m here to inspire, teach, and guide, but I also need space to nurture my own well-being. I want to be a phenomenal partner and prepare for the next phase of my life, including stepping into motherhood when the time is right. 🌟 I invite you to reflect: Where are you overextending yourself? How can you create more space for joy and alignment in your life? This isn’t just about learning to say no—it’s about choosing to live in a way that honors your deepest needs and desires.
