With only 19 days until I leave for India, we’re making the final push to get our house livable, even if it’s far from finished. There’s a deep beauty in settling into a space that’s still unfolding, learning to find peace in the chaos, and celebrating every step forward. Each day, the house comes together a little more, and with it, a reminder that life is always in progress. Moving into this space has been a grounding experience, teaching me patience, trust, and the power of presence. 💥 Embracing the Chaos: How Moving Has Shaped My Perspective Living in an unfinished home isn’t just about making things work—it’s about shifting your mindset to see the beauty in every small victory. From installing the first bathroom to cleaning up construction debris, every moment feels like progress. There’s a sense of excitement in watching this house slowly transform, knowing it will eventually hold our life’s stories. It’s taught me to let go of perfection and surrender to the process, finding joy in the journey rather than the destination. This experience is grounding me in ways I never expected, reminding me that the best things in life are built with patience and love. 🌸 A Call for Help: Supporting Asheville in a Time of Crisis As we focus on building our new home, my heart is also with the Asheville community. The recent storms have left many, including dear friends, in crisis as their homes and roads have been washed away. My close friend Eleanor, who has been a pivotal part of our SoulWork community, is spearheading efforts to bring clean spring water to those in need. With roads destroyed, they’re working tirelessly to deliver water to the community, but they need help. They’ve set up a GoFundMe to cover the costs of generators, gas, and resources to keep their work going. 💧 If you feel called, please donate or share their story. Every bit of support makes a difference in helping this beautiful community rebuild.
