What have you accomplished over the last year as a supervisor and leader? And more importantly, what led you to achieve what you have - and what may have prevented you from achieving more? Taking the time to reflect on questions such as these can set us up for greater growth and success in the coming year. Just like we do project relfections, we should reflect on our own learning too. But learning what we have achieved should not be restricted to just the "how" we did it.  We also need to look at who we had to become to achieve it. The exercise I walk you through in this episode will help you understand the type of leader you have become to achieve what you have, and also what challenges prevented you from achieving more. Here are the reflection questions: 1. How have you changed as a leader and supervisor over the past year?  (How do you think differently?  How do you feel different?  How do you act different?) 2. As a result of the leader you are today, what have you been able to achieve over the past year? 3. For each thing you have achieved, what is it that allowed you to achieve it? 4. Think of the ways you would have liked to have grown as a leader and supervisor over the last year but you did not - what prevented you from doing so?  How could you have overcome those challenges? 5. What is ONE thing if achieved next year that you and your team would feel very proud to have accomplished?  (When you think about it you feel motivated and excited) Next week we will build on this exercise in order to create a Year of Inspiration.  Talk then!
