Two Mountains - Moshe

a.k.a rabbi - A podcast by Rabbi Gavriel Goldfeder - Sundays

Everything is going smoothly - or it seems to be - and, as long as everything goes as planned, it will work at well. but it doesn't - something comes along and interrupts the flow. This interruptor serves the essential role of evoking deeper strengths and a bigger story than we would otherwise have seen. The Torah offers many such Interruption Stories. In fact, every story in the Tanakh is an Interruption Story - Adam and Eve, Noach, Avraham, Ya'akov, Yoseph, Moshe, David, Shlomo, Esther, Naomi, and on and on - each of the shows us how heroic people respond to the Interruption. In this first episode, we will consider the great disappointment of the gold cow in Moshe's life, and how it actually became the beginning of the story we actually need to hear.
