"God's Creatures" Explores the Limits of a Mother's Love

A new film explores the lengths a mother will go to in order to protect her son, even in the wake of disturbing allegations. Emily Watson stars as Aileen, a woman from a small Irish fishing village thrilled when her son (Paul Mescal) returns. But when a woman in town accuses her son of sexual assault, Aileen is faced with some difficult choices. "God's Creatures" was directed by Saela Davis and Anna Rose Holmer, who join us to discuss, alongside Emily Watson. The film premieres in select theaters and on demand on September 30.
