Local Control | Louisiana Resiliency with Pat Forbes

Peter A. Ravella launches Local Control with Pat Forbes, the Executive Director of the Louisiana Office of Community Development (LA SAFE), the state's community resiliency program with a budget of $100 million from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Subjects discussed include: Pat's coastal background, the state of the LA coast, and the extent to which land loss is an emergent issue, the importance of coastal and community resiliency and, what other states can learn from Louisiana.
