Talking about...the expression "to start afresh"

We start again at the New Year which inevitably means that we reflect and we think about things we want to start, things we want to give, new habits we need to adopt.I was also reflecting about what podcast episode to start the New Year with and  this English expression came into my head; To Start Afresh. Have you ever wanted to start something from the beginning again? Give it another shot? Well, in these cases perhaps you want to start afresh. Another reason I really want to teach this one because I don't think I've ever heard a student say it.
