Lum'at ul Itiqad – Lesson 7 Taught by our brother Abu Muadh Benefits from the lesson include - We have been ordered to follow the Sunnah and follow the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khaleefahs and warned against the newly invented matters. - The righteous Imaams are to be followed i.e. the salaf. What is reported from them is what we act upon. We tread upon their way. We stop where they stopped. Why? This is what they learnt from the prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم. This is what differentiates the Salafis from the rest. - Bidah is something that the people attach to the Sunnah for which there is no evidence. Imaam Barbaharee said bidah starts as something small. They become big such that it's hard for the people to can't bring themselves out the bidah - Why do we warn against the bidah? It's due to the great harm the bidah has and the consequences of bidah. - The salafi way is the correct way. Everyone else claims to follow the Quran and Sunnah but only the Salafis can give you examples from the companions.
