In the fourth and fifth centuries we see books on the sciences of hadith and how to grade them. Encyclopedias of ahadith were compiled consisting of all the ahadith found in Bukhari and Muslim, some combined all the 6 famous works of ahadith taught by Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam
