AstroVed’s Astrology Podcast - A podcast by AstroVed - Fridays

Lord Balarama, an avatar of Vishnu, was the elder brother of Lord Krishna and is said to be the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. He is also called Baladeva, Balabhadra, and Halayudha. According to Hindu mythology, he is a manifestation of Adishesha, the serpent on whom Vishnu rests. Known for his loyalty and protection of Krishna, Balarama, as a god, helps people find harmony in their lives. The Balarama Gayatri Mantra is believed to improve the relationship among family members, especially brothers. The best time to chant it is Ekadasi thithi and Saturdays. It should be recited 11, 108, or 1008 times.   If you would like to find out more about your chart or have a question about astrology you would love the answer to, please do connect with us at www.astroved.com Follow AstroVed on IG, Twitter, and FB @AstroVed
