Tried and Test Remedies Part 1

When we started out with Max's diagnosis of autism, we embarked on a verbal behaviour program and that was something that really helped with Max's communication.  Life became more complicated when he started school as they had different methods of communication and so it was difficult as the methods didn't gel and neither in some cases did the therapists and the school.  I suppose for me it was about what was best for Max so fundamentally,  I made decisions on what I thought was the right thing to do.  There will be a part 2 to this blog and I will publish it as soon as I can so there's continuity on this topic.  Hope its useful.  Thanks for tuning in!
