John Williams (or Willo to you and me), the player turned assistant manager who played 117 games for the Cherries. Described by Harry Redknapp as being "possibly the best signing he had made" in his 25-year management career. Former Cherry and current Newcastle fan favourite Matt Ritchie joins us, discussing his footballing career, from the turbulence at Swindon under Di Canio, the calm drive of Eddie Howe, onto the move to Newcastle and the increased supporter expectation at St James Park. Tony Funnell played for Bournemouth, Gillingham, Brentford and Southampton, as well as managing locally with Hamworthy United and Poole Town. He played two seasons for the Cherries in 1981, and finished top scorer in his first season, clinching Cherries promotion. Keith Williams, a midfielder who played in the same side as Tony, going on to notch 102 appearances for the Cherries, leaving in 1987. As well as this, he also had a long spell at Northampton Town, as well a couple of seasons at Aston Villa. And last but not least, footballing royalty Harry Redknapp. Where we discuss...
