88 - A "Good" Defeat?

Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast - A podcast by Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

Whilst Cherries lost 5-2 at Manchester United this weekend, you can’t say it was gutless, and you can’t say that the players didn’t care, but once again, our tactical inadequacies were exposed, and whether that’s down to the individuals on the pitch or the man who instructs them is yet to be known. But, is there room for room for optimism? Possibly! But the fact there are only five games to go leaves us in an invidious position. This game had everything. Great goals, VAR controversies, and some more gift wrapped moments, which means the home aside managed to ease to a relatively easy victory, and Bournemouth are another game closer to a summer preparing not to go to places like Newcastle, but to beautiful spots such as Norwich and the New York Stadium. In this episode, Neil Dawson and Jeff Hayward run through proceedings at Old Trafford, before previewing AFC Bournemouth's encounter at home to Tottenham Hotspur. Plus, we catch up with Cherries fan Reese - who, after an emotional appearance on a recent Full Time Free-for-all, has spoken in depth about what the club means to him. It hasn't been an easy life, but the club has offered the comfort that he has needed. We find out more.
