91 - The End Of An Era

On Sunday, Bournemouth's 5 year stint in the Premier League came to an end after a survival Sunday showdown which saw Aston Villa claim the point they needed to ensure their Premier League safety. Whilst Bournemouth overcame Everton in a convincing 1-3 win, factors elsewhere meant that we would finish 18th - no longer being able to claim that we are a side that has never been relegated from the top flight. Although the point difference that Aston Villa are gained could be deemed controversial given the circumstances of the Hawkeye blunder vs Sheffield United, the fact remains that Bournemouth this season have simply not been good enough.
