Today on the show Jayson is talking with “Freeway” Rick Ross, former LA drug kingpin, and author of both The 21 Keys to Success: Ridin’ with Rick and Freeway Rick: The Untold Autobiography. They are talking about Rick’s life before he went to prison, and what led him there. They talk about how Rick almost became the king of hip hop, meeting Dr. Dre as a 17 year old kid. Growing up Rick always knew he was going to prison, he had decided that for himself before it was even a reality. Everything in your life comes down to a decision, you can always make a choice to better yourself every single day. After being released from prison Rick was determined to turn his life around, he made a list of everything he was going to do to improve himself, and he is accomplishing everything on that list.
