#80: Achieve Your Goals with Kim Perell

JAYSON WALLER UNLEASHED - A podcast by Jayson Waller

Perell was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, to be able to spend money as a kid, she went door-to-door and asked her Portland neighbors for metal cans which she would redeem at five cents apiece.  Her first job out of college was at an internet startup that went bankrupt. Kim began her journey as an entrepreneur from her kitchen table with a $10,000 loan from her 80-year-old grandmother, and grew the company to over $100 million in annual revenue. Kim went from broke and unemployed to selling her first company and becoming a multi-millionaire by the time she was 30.   Links:    Follow True Underdog on IG: www.instagram.com/true_underdog Reach out to Jayson directly at [email protected] Follow Jayson on Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jayson-waller-/ Follow Jayson on Instagram: www.instagram.com/jaysonwallerbam Check out our website to meet the team, view show notes and transcripts: www.trueunderdog.com   Mentioned in the Episode:   Kim’s Website: https://kimperell.com/ Kim’s Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimperell/ Kim’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kimperell/ Kim’s Twitter: https://twitter.com/kimperell Kim’s YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/KimPerell   Timestamps:   2:39 - Growing Up in Portland, Collecting Cans 4:24 - Struggles Getting to Multi Millions 8:08 - Selling a Company FOr Over $200 Million 10:35 - Where Are We At With Female Entrepreneurs 13:36 - Exit Strategy as an Angel Investor 16:33 - Elevating Other Entrepreneurs 17:59 - Some Examples of Exit Strategies 20:11 - Kim’s New Book 21:51 - What Qualities Make a Great Leader? 25:39 - How to Find Kim Online Learn more about your ad choices.
