EP 36 The Gifts of Uncertainty

As discussed in the previous episode, holding onto knowledge can lead us to identify with it and stop our search for and openness to new information.  It can become a self-imposed limit, where we put ourselves in a box that we end up defending and fighting for.Uncertainty provides us with the gift of presence and opens us up to further development.  In our current societies we often learn most through challenging and painful experiences.  The cycles of life and death assist us in our development by stripping us of our identification with certain roles and forcing surrender into the present. But there is another way to grow, where suffering is not required,  By learning to become comfortable with uncertainty we can start moving into it.  By relinquishing our need to know and our need to feel particular feelings, such as hopefulness or hopelessness, we liberate our potential.A first step may be just to start noticing when we cling to certainty and welcoming the moments when we notices distress due to lack of certainty as opportunities for practice.Movement in our Universe is possible due to uncertainty and infinity.  When we identify with the infinite potential we are, we open the door to a spectacular life.    It is a life where no knowledge is a threat to our identity.   It is a heart-centered life of active creation through inspiration and deep connection with all.If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions for the podcast you can contact me on Instagram @BasiasThoughts.  And, of course, if you would like to see more content from me do sponsor me on https://www.patreon.com/basia because that will allow me to focus more on content creation.
