Welcome to part 3 of Identities & Roles in the BDSM Lifestyle! The Leather community started around the 1940s having strong roots in the gay biker community and who today we commonly call The Old Guard. Leather families are groups of Leatherfolk who have sworn to treat each other as family, to be there to take care of each other through life's ups and downs.
