Pete Pine invites his tree friends to start a new tradition! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:59 The Gratitude Circle Excerpt: At the edge of the Ahway Island forest, near the bed of a small creek, where sweet songs of birds filled the air, stood Pete Pine, a wise and friendly pine tree. Pete’s branches stretched out proudly, reaching toward the sky. He loved his peaceful home and cherished the company of his fellow tree friends. Every day, as the sun rose over the horizon, Pete felt grateful for the beauty that surrounded him. One sunny morning, the air was crisp and cool, and the sky was a brilliant blue dotted with fluffy white clouds. Pete’s needles shimmered as they caught the golden rays of sunlight. Pete took a deep Dragon Breath, in and out, (deep breath), and he felt gratitude wash over him as it did every day. He was thankful for the beautiful morning. Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine sunlight warming you as you lie in a grassy meadow. Creating the original bedtime stories and art for Be Calm on Ahway Island takes a lot of time and care.
