Brooke the Stream helps Magnus and Mabel's ducklings have a race. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:39 Duckling Derby Excerpt: It was a cool afternoon in the Ahway Island forest. Last night, there had been a thunderstorm, and today, a few remining clouds still hung in the sky. The downpour had left Brooke, the little forest stream, feeling especially full. The water from the rainstorm had gathered into puddles and flown down her banks. Her waters were rushing faster than usual, whoosh whoosh whoosh-ing into the nearby pond. As the waves splashed into the little pond, Brooke saw her two duck friends, Mabel and Magnus Mallard finishing up a swim with their seven ducklings. The whole family climbed out of the water. Mama Mabel led them all in a line, and Papa Magnus brought up the rear. As the ducks waddled, little droplets dripped off their feathers and onto the ground.
