Emily and Billy find that helping others makes their beach day even more fun! Narrator: Male Story Begins: 3:40 Beach Day Fun Excerpt: It was early afternoon on Ahway Island. The sun was high overhead, shining brilliantly and making the air hot and arid. Emily and her family had spent the morning getting ready to head to Ahway Island Beach. Emily had helped Mrs. Parker pack the long blue beach towels with green palm trees on them, the sunscreen, and sand toys. Billy and Mr. Parker had made the family a delicious fruit salad for lunch. Billy had also helped pack the family’s reusable water bottles with lots of ice so they would stay nice and cool at the beach. Once they had everything ready, the Parker family headed over to the train station and hopped on the sparkling blue train that would take them to the beach.
