Often we hear about referring onto other specialists to stay within our scope of practice and increase client satisfaction but what if those said specialists were all under the same roof working collaboratively? Well, If you’ve ever wondered how collaboration in a clinical setting works then todays episode is going to tell you exactly how. Emily Fenton has a Masters in Nurse Practitioner Studies with a special interest area of Dermatology.  After extensive training working under some of Queensland’s (and even the world’s) most well-known medical and procedural dermatologists, Emily established Skinfluence Clinic. Working alongside Emily is Caylynn Jagga, who you may remember from our previous episode on Dermal Therapists and Clinicians. Caylynn began in the Beauty industry back in 2014 after suffering acne herself and in search of something more, came across the Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapies with Victoria University. Caylynn continued to further her studies by undertaking courses in Skin Cancer and Dermoscopy as she believes skin health is multifaceted. Today, Emily and Caylynn join us to share how Dermatologists, Dermal Clinicians or therapists, and other health care professionals working in synergy can create greater outcomes for their patients. Community and Collaboration are topics very close to Beaute’s heart, we are thrilled to host this conversation!
