David Weston is a former maths and science teacher with over 10 years experience. He is the founder and chief executive of the Teacher Development Trust. In March, 2015 he was appointed by the Department for Education as Chair of the Teacher’s professional Development Expert Group. He was a founding Director of the Chartered College of Teaching. David has written and spoken extensively in the media about teaching and teacher development and has had a number of radio and TV appearances discussing teaching and LGBT issues.
