Despite Donald Trump being charged with conspiring to overturn the US election result in 2020, he is currently ahead of candidates for the Republican nomination for president. On Thursday, former US President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in a Washington DC court to conspiring to overturn his 2020 election defeat. But, in the latest nationwide poll, he was on level pegging with Joe Biden. He could win the presidential election. Can anti-Trump Republicans turn this around? Today's Justin Webb heard from John Fredericks, a radio talk show host whose show is syndicated nationally across America, and speaks to Scott Jennings, a former Republican special assistant to President George W.
