Pelvic Floor Avulsion - A Lifelong Birth Injury

First and foremost, Stephanie Thompson is a brave mumma (and wife). Her long journey to becoming a mum is her greatest achievement. Her 'never-die' attitude and resilience to adversity was never going to let cancer or birth trauma stop her from being the 'best' mum she can be.With over 20 years experience in education and leadership, she knows how important advocacy is for making real change. After completing her degree in education, she worked in the classroom of public schools across Sydney for the next decade.Prior to the birth of her babies, she was an educational consultant, while also running a small tea business and competing in triathlons. Busy is what she does best.Stephanie lives with her loving husband, two little people and fat cat on the south coast of NSW. She isn't able to be a teacher, a triathlete or tea business owner anymore. The trauma from giving birth has left her body broken. But, of course that's not the end of the story...After looking in all the wrong places for resolve, she discovered writing and her voice. She is now helping to make way for change in this women's health literacy space.Stephanie created the Bravemumma community and is working hard to advocate for better education, connection and care for women's pelvic health. Her aim is to ensure women can feel empowered to make informed decisions about their pelvic health.Find Stephanie onFacebookInstagram YouTubeWebsite *******************I recommend checking out my comprehensive pelvic health education and fitness programs on my Buff Muff AppYou can also join my next 28 Day Buff Muff Challenge https://www.vaginacoach.com/buffmuffIf you are feeling social you can connect with me… On Facebook https://www.facebook.com/VagCoachOn Instagram https://www.instagram.com/vaginacoach/On Twitter https://twitter.com/VaginaCoachOn The Web www.vaginacoach.com
