Episode 60: Why do I struggle with Muscular Dystrophy

On episode 60 of Beyond Labels & Limitations, John Graybill shares how he struggles with limb girdle muscular dystrophy. The struggle wasn't always the same over 26 years. When John was younger he believed himself to be the physical John. Naturally, whenever he lost an ability, he took it hard, and he tried to get that physical ability back.  It wasn't until John heard Wayne Dyer speak of an idea that "we are all spiritual beings having a human experience" did John start the shift. Now, John sees that whenever he gets down and the struggles of muscular dystrophy are heavy, it's because he has gone back into the belief that he is a physical being. This self inquiry is a life-long one but one we need to make if we are to go beyond muscular dystrophy.
