The clip you're going to hear today was taken from a webinar where I had just referenced an analogy that I often use to describe how a data driven strategy works. I'm going to quickly give a recap of that analogy so that you have context going into this clip. Keep in mind that what we're concerned with here is figuring out exactly what we need to be looking at during a poker hand. What is actually going to be the most important thing for making the decision we need to make in any given moment? Okay. When you see a constellation of stars like Orion or the Big Dipper, the way that your brain detects that constellation is by noticing the brightest stars first. Those are the stars that form the pattern. And that pattern is what lets you know that you're looking at Orion and not the Big Dipper. From there, your mind can connect the dots, and suddenly the full shape of the constellation becomes visible in a very similar way. That's how the data driven strategy works. It trains you to detect the brightest data points or stars in the hand so that you can see the pattern, connect the dots, and make the best play. I'm going to use that analogy as this clip gets started. So now you have context over it. I hope you guys enjoy the inner workings of how data-driven strategies are created.
