Children, Mental Health, and the Government

Why are we failing children in the system? What is happening to Government support? Can voters change it? Did colorado fail the last Federal Audit? Dr. Skip Barber is a licensed clinical psychologist who advocates on behalf of kids, theirfamilies and the agencies that serve them.Dr. Barber has been integral in several public policyinitiatives including leading the effort to create the Facility School Unit and playing amajor role in the efforts to establish adequate rates of reimbursement for child welfare,youth correction and child mental health services. At the University of Phoenix, Dr.Barber served as the Lead Faculty member for the Counseling Department from 2008until 2017.
