#5: James “Jubes” Matamua – landing a lead acting role and boxing

Kicking off the first episode of 2022, I sat down with Jubes – an aspiring actor who hit cinema's across New Zealand when he landed the lead role in 'Savage' – a provoking kiwi film on growing up within a gang.  Acting is bread and butter for Jubes, who smashed his first acting performance out of the park.  He's continuing the acting journey and also focussing on boxing and making the New Zealand Olympic Team!
