Bulimia Recovery Lessons from Running a 10K

Binge Breakers - Bulimia Recovery - A podcast by Jacqueline Davis, Bulimia & Weightloss Coach - Fridays

When I set out to run a 10k race I didn’t realize how many transferable skills I’d take from running to recovery. In this episode I talk about pacing yourself, limiting skills and techniques, moving past challenges, and thinking about your body differently. Every single lesson I mention can help you in recovery and your life. I hope you enjoy the reflections! I also hope it’s an example to you of how you can struggle with an eating disorder, recover, and still pursue hard things. Even fitness goals. If I hadn’t recovered I don’t know if I’d be able to do what I did this year. I certainly wouldn’t have been as successful if I were still in bulimia.   For more information on private coaching, group coaching, free resources, & more go to https://www.bingebreakers.com   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bingebreakers_bulimia/   DISCLAIMER This recording is not nor is intended to be utilized as medical advice or a medical diagnosis.
