Travelling While Mixed (Rerun)

The unicorns are taking some time off from doing full episodes this summer. We will be back next week with a new minisode. In the meantime, check out this episode from the summer of 2020. In this episode we take a look at travel with a focus on traveling while brown and a woman. It’s the last days of summer and most of us are still living that “stay-cation” life, so today we want you to live vicariously through our episode today as we talk about travel. But first, we want to acknowledge that between the high cost, extra charges, availability and the impact flights have on the environment, we recognize that travel IS a privilege. It is with this mindset that we discuss our experience with traveling while being women of color.
