DJ Slim Fit is a fervent producer and DJ, based in Bucharest, Romania. Driven by his perpetual curiosity, he boldly navigates through styles and tempos in his creations. His hyper-active nature translates into the energy and vibrations of his DJ mixes. His predilection for breakbeat rhythms, often heard in his tunes, comes from the early bassline driven UK sound of the ‘90s and the rave air of the same intense decade. His songs also cruise into a realm of dreamy and emotional melodies, born out of his reflective journeys into the depths of his soul and his life experiences. As his “poison” is spending every morning making music, he developed great acoustic skills, ruling with confidence the acoustic space in the process of creation of an electronic music track. DJ Slim Fit loves to make any frontiers dissapear into an exciting and euphoric cross genre expedition in both production and the curation of the music to play for the dancefloor. Before switching to his present artist name, he produced and released music under the alias Pîrvu at labels like: NorthSouth Records, Meander, black.round.twelve, The Other Side etc. Alongside the singular act, DJ Slim Fit is collaborating with his wife, Alexandra, on the project entitled The Apricots. The duo plays and produces dancefloor-oriented music, but also slower beats like ambient, downtempo, jazz, trip-hop and experimental electronic music.
