Ezra Maes was an Army M1A2 tanker who lost most of one of his legs when the tank he was in lost its brakes and crashed into a river a the bottom of a hill. Shawn McMahan is an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician that cared for Ezra on his flight out of the country to Germany.
