I C S. is an artist based in Leipzig, Germany and is apart of Melbourne/Leipzig label Controlled Violence as well as the Kontakt Collective. His local music culture has formed his ideology of techno, as I C S. frequented illegal raves, both in and outdoors in spots around his hometown. Having played piano and saxophone from an early age, the sounds of electronic music and synthesizers began to obsess I C S. Self education in music production and sound experimentation forms the crux of his production career. This curiosity with sound, mixed with the influences he takes from rave culture forms the backbone of I C S.' productions.
