Cydney has faced many challenges throughout her life. One of them was a near-death experience in her childhood while being severely injured during practicing skating. She was lucky to have not only survived the accident but also to get up again with the same enthusiasm and passion for life. She has recovered her injured leg that was, according to the doctors, previously thought to be amputated immediately. During the period of recovery and frustration on not being able to perform skating and participate in the competitions ever again, she discovered her purpose in life and chose fashion as her career. She has never looked back since and been inspiring the entrepreneurs, companies and fashion enthusiasts with her ideas.

About Cydney Mar

Cydney Mar is a 60 year-old woman born to Chinese parents in Vancouver, B.C. She is a fashion designer, product development strategist, wellness enthusiast and a former professional athlete.

Education/Experience: Cydney Mar, 60 was once a professional athlete (skater) for 12 years before going to school to learn fashion designing. She is a fashion designer with a career spanning 36 years. Her diagnosis of MONO which led to her complete loss of hair and that made her to dive into the health industry. She developed her own beauty and wellness products.

Accomplishments: Cydney has won several design and merchandising awards in her illustrious career and had over 300 million in sales as a fashion designer. Her designs on QVC sold in over 8 countries in 15 years. Cydney Mar created her wellness vitamins for vibrant health and beauty.

Fun Facts: Cydney Mar loves skating and designing. She believes beauty is from the inside-out.

Obstacles Overcame: Cydney is a born survivor. She had a leg reconstructive surgery after she sustained a collusion while skating. She was later diagnosed of MONO which led to her complete loss of hair.
