Yelitsa Jean-Charles is the Founder & Creative Director of Healthy Roots - a doll company focused on promoting positive self-perceptions in girls through dolls with varying shades of complexion and natural hair textures. She still suffers with imposter syndrome even after being honored by Essence Magazine as one of the 50 founders to watch in 2017, but she’s ready to take the world by storm.
